Art at the Heart

Bio


Chloe Bartram, founding member of Lumina Collective, is a photographic artist and visual narrator nestled between the Little and Great Sandy Deserts in Western Australia. Using the conventions of social documentary and photography, Chloe endeavours to explore the idiosyncratic nature of the human condition, create new perspectives on the Aussie outback and bring the lived experiences of women to the centre of discussion.

Acknowledgements


The project takes its name from and is an extension of the Art at the Heart international arts residency, which ran in the Shire between 2014 and 2017. It has been supported by the Shire of East Pilbara and the East Pilbara Arts Centre.
