SITE EIGHT / 16 to 28 June 2017
Unintended is an experiential inquiry into the process of meaning-making that stems from our interactions with Contemporary art. The exhibition assembles a collection of sculptural works that re-purpose, re-contextualise and re-invent everyday objects, creating a multi-sensory landscape of anticipation and inquiry. By considering the performative capacity of the art object, its materiality, and construction, Unintended breathes new life into formerly quotidian objects.
Jessica Clark is a curatorial intern at RMIT:ART:INTERSECT and is currently a Master of Art (Arts Management) candidate in the School of Art. Rikki-Paul Bunder, Dom Krapski and Garry Moore are currently undertaking a Master of Fine Art also in the School of Art.
